Welcome to GRÜNBAU BERLIN 2014!

Green is in! Gardening and landscaping significantly influence not only the quality of life, but also property values in our modern world. Key areas include improvements to residential areas, revitalization of housing developments, and the modernization of playgrounds and recreational facilities.

bautec is the only construction trade event to follow the concept of networking building shells and building services engineering. GRÜNBAU BERLIN complements the bautec programme with a special outdoor segment. Based on the theme "Designing, building and maintaining outdoor spaces," GRÜNBAU BERLIN links urban space with landscape gardening to bring together technology and design.

GRÜNBAU:TALKS

Open green spaces in the city are a key theme at bautec 2014. GRÜNBAU:TALKS offer researchers, landscape architects, structural engineers, environmental experts, gardeners and representatives of social organizations an opportunity to discuss "Challenges in Green Urban Development." The GRÜNBAU:TALKS are presented in cooperation with the Beuth Hochschule für Technik Berlin and mds m.donners services.

"Modern urban development would be hard to imagine without efficient, financially feasible landscaping to improve the quality of life in urban areas. Investments in green development are always warranted when the concept corresponds to what people need, has a practical use, and can be maintained in a manageable way. PLAYGROUND:TALKS

Presented in cooperation with the Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk (children's charity), the PLAYGROUND:TALKS focus on child-friendly playground design and the quality of recreational areas.

"The Playground:Talks attracted a large, very interested audience. A wealth of innovative ideas and lively discussions showed how communities can create attractive play areas for children. Messe Berlin provided a good framework for the Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk Playground:Talks. We are looking forward to serving as a partner again at GRÜNBAU 2014!"
