See 3D concrete printing in action
Berlin, 19. February 2020
The print head of the COBOD 3D concrete printer steadily carries out its sequence of operations as it erects curved, cavity walls. Visitors to bautec 2020 can experience this innovative technology in action on the Peri stand in Hall 3.2. With this method concrete structures can be erected quickly and cost-efficiently without the need for shuttering. The printer takes about five minutes to produce one square metre. This innovative technology ensures the accurate use of material and is also efficient in terms of the labour required, because the process would normally require two operatives. It also allows the quick and easy integration of other technical tasks such as cable ducting or the installation of insulating material. Reference projects have already been completed with the concrete printer in Dubai and Denmark.
